Burgos 2031 in launching a new Open Call to mural paintings projects to become permanent works in an Industrial Area in Burgos (Spain).
SELECTION PROCESS
1. Artists submit in an envelope all the documents.
2. A jury of profesional cultural experts and artists received proposals and choose 3 of them.
3. The artworks that are matched with partner and location in the Industrial Area walls.
4. All proposals received are of course handled confidentially. The proposals that are not selected for further commissions will not be used in any other context by the organization and all the information will be destroy.
FINANCE & COMPENSATION
1. 3 Awards of 6,000 + VAT per artwork.
2. Burgos 2031 pays production costs in advance 1,000 + VAT (removing from the whole amount).
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Professional artists can submit an expression of interest at any time from now until 12th November 2024. Artists can participate individually or in groups of several. Maximum 2 proposal each artist.

1. Envelope that includes: Anex I and Anex II (required).
2. Letter of motivation and some Images of mural paintings in other places (required).
3. Image and description of your work and thoughts on how you see it best placed, calendar/schedule, materials and CV (required)
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
• High artistic quality.
• Relevance in relation to current social issues, sustainability, heatlh, culture and Industry and the opportunities and challenges they bring.
• Innovative approach to temporary art projects.
• How well the artwork relates to the chosen Wall and the surrounding location.
• Potential to engage as well as wider and professional audiences.
• Practical and economic feasibility.
